In the last 40 years the Santee Alley has grown from only opening their doors on a Saturday to opening everyday, 365 days a year. The evolution has not just ended there. The community and culture grew from neighborhood browsers to people from all over the world coming to the district and shopping the retail and wholesale stores. The Santee Alley logo and branding represents the culture diversity and its change over the years.
The alley has many colorful umbrellas throughout the street. The umbrellas and their beautiful vibrant colors are displayed within the new logo as representation of the diverse people and businesses. Today the L.A. Fashion District Business Improvement District (BID) along with the Santee Alley Association are announcing the updated brand for the Santee Alley. This includes a new logo, colors, and font. The new logo will be displayed within the Santee Alley streets, website, and social media.
